I love happy endings. You can keep the dark, brooding, angst filled stories for someone else; as far as I’m concerned there is enough anxiety in the world without me adding to it. At this point in history we need some hope that the world isn’t going to hell in a handcart. This was my intention in writing the novel: to provide a little escapism, make you laugh and dare you to believe in happy endings.
